

Dominique was born November 19, 1985 to Douglas Rommell Humphrey and Lynette Lucille Joey Hardy in Omaha, Nebraska. He moved with his mother to Lenexa, KS when he was four years old. Dominique resided in the Kansas City area until his death. He attended school in the Lenexa area and was a 2004 graduate of Shawnee Mission West High School. Dominique was an avid basketball player and played basketball throughout his formative years before his health prevented him from playing.
Dominique in his heart believed that Jesus Christ was his Savior and strived to walk his life to please the Master. ”For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38-29)”
Dominique was preceded in death by his mother, Lynette Lucille Joey Hardy in 2020; his paternal grandparents, Earnestine Goldy Powell and William Powell, and his maternal grandmother, Helen Lucille Hardy; brother, Brandon Scott Bowers in 2021; as well as aunts and uncles.
Survivors include fiancé, Keri Johnson and son, Kamariaun Humphrey-Hall, Kansas City, MO; his father, Douglas Rommell Humphrey (Melanie DuMarce), Omaha, NE; sisters, Adrianna Helen Lucille Hardy, Kansas City, MO, Minca DuMarce (Josh Whitelaw), Evelyn DuMarce, Omaha, NE; brothers, Jamal Leon Thomas Hardy (Katie Crutcher), Blue Springs, MO, Raphael DuMarce (Rasha Cole), Courtney Tebo, Kevin Tebo, Corey Tebo, Omaha, NE; favorite uncle, John Skipper, Omaha, NE; grandfather, Joseph Hardy, Omaha, NE; godmother, Belinda “Nana” Jarrett, Kansas City, KS; nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
