Donald G. Thompson, 88, Kansas City, MO, passed away peacefully on the evening of January 10, 2015. A memorial service will be held 12 – 1 p.m., Saturday, January 17 at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO 64131.
He was born August 7, 1926 in Granby, MO and was a longtime Kansas City resident.
Donald is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jean Thompson; son Troy Thompson; daughter Carolyn Clenny; grandchildren Victoria and Devin Clenny, Anthony and Tara Thompson; his dear friends Charles Weldon Jr. and Ruth Bennett, all of Kansas City, MO; sister Clara Rush of New Hampshire and numerous nieces and nephews.
