Doris Elaine Skinner

Doris was born and raised in Kansas City graduating from Westport High School. She worked at TWA where she met her husband John who proposed to her on their first date! Doris loved everything about raising a family. She was an extraordinary seamstress sewing clothes for her daughters and grandchildren. She kept us all connected by writing to family and friends scattered across the country. She will always be remembered for her faith, her sweet-tooth and her light-hearted sense of humor.

Doris is survived by her daughters Janet Maxwell, Julie Scheuerman, niece Linda Zollars, 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
