Funeral services are 11:00 AM Friday, February 15th, with a visitation beginning at 10:00 AM, at the McGilley Antioch Chapel; burial in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to the Missouri Veterans Home in Cameron, MO.
Burke was born January 19, 1944 to Edward John and Elizabeth Ann (Maloney) Jeselnik in Kansas City, MO. He graduated from De LaSalle in 1962 and the University of Missouri in Kansas City in 1976. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army 69th Armored Regiment serving in the Vietnam Conflict. For many years Burke was employed in the banking and mortgage industry. He was a member of the Kiwanis of North Kansas City and the VFW Post #5606, and served as a past-president of the Clay County Teachers Credit Union. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Ellen Jeselnik of the home; daughter, Katrina Jeselnik; son, Ryan and wife, Alicia Jeselnik; two grandchildren, Carter Jeselnik and Ava Jeselnik; sister, Kathy Hall; niece, Kristin Alexander; nephew, Derek Hall; and cousin, Michael J. Maloney.
