Earlynn Fields, Lake Winnebago, Missouri, passed away July 16, 2011. Earlynn was born May 6, 1944 to James E. and Nelle McCullough who preceded her in death. She was a 1962 graduate of Raytown High School. She worked in the insurance industry most of her life. Earlynn worked for Insurance Overload where she managed the Kansas City office. Also, from 1981 to 2004, she was the secretary-treasurer of her and her husband’s corporation, Fields Brothers Painting, Inc. She loved to sew and quilt and made many of her own clothes. She loved to cook and collected cookbooks and recipes from every state and city she visited. Earlynn had a passion for reading, many times reading a book a day. She is survived by her husband, Ron Fields, of the home; a daughter, Kerilynn Bemis (Mike), of Austin, Texas; and two grandchildren, Steven and Sydnee Sultzbaugh. Visitation will be held 10:00-11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 19 at Mount Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri, followed by funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Burial in Mount Moriah Cemetery.
