Rev. Edgar D. Guess, age 89, of Shawnee, KS, passed away on August 16, 2015. Funeral at 11AM on Wednesday, August 19, at Olivet Baptist Church, 4901 Mission Rd, Westwood, KS 66205, with visitation starting at 9:30AM. Burial at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
Edgar was preceded in death by his first wife Ethel Guess, 4 sisters, 3 brothers, and 1 granddaughter.
He is survived by his wife Vada Guess; children Micheal Guess (Rashell), James Guess (Sheri), Ruth Anne Dirksen (Arlin), John Guess (Becky), and Paul Guess (Lisa); stepchildren Barbara Miller and Jerry Kraxner; 16 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
