

Edileen was born July 1, 1924 in Lamar Mo, to Edward and Leona Landingham. She was a life-long resident of Kansas City and a graduate of East High School in Kansas City Mo.
Edileen’s husband, Ed, served in the Air Force during World War II and upon returning to Kansas City, they were married September 22, 1944. Ed and Edileen were married for sixty five years and during that time Edileen was involved in many organizations, including the Eastern Star, Job’s Daughters, Women’s Business Organizations and a charter member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Independence, MO. She and Ed spent a great deal of time promoting their Ireland Tours Travel Agency in Kansas City Mo.
She is survived by her brother, Richard Landingham (Barbara), three daughters, Eileen McDonald (Bill) of Olathe, Ks., Linda Elderkin (Bob) of Melbourne Beach Fl., Susan Clark (Ron), of Quincy IL. Grandchildren: Jennifer Costello, John McDonald, Doug Boland, Scott Boland, Brad Clark, Tim Clark and Rebecca Clark along with six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Jack, sister Billie and grand-daughter Elizabeth Clark.
Edileen loved her grandchildren by having many trips called Camp Pa-Gam, reading, painting, organizations and extended travel with her husband Ed around the world. We all will miss Gammie and her laugh.
