Edith Marie Dutton passed away peacefully at the Kansas City Hospice House on February 18, 2015. She was born on February 16, 1934. A lifelong resident of Kansas City, Missouri, she graduated from Paseo High School, and attended Kansas State University. She volunteered at the Kansas City Heart Institute and worked part-time at Halls Crown Center. An avid world traveler, Edith Dutton enjoyed visiting countries across Europe and Africa, with additional trips to Japan, Australia and New Zealand. She most enjoyed the company of her family, and her fondest moments were sharing moments and laughing together with her grandchildren and their friends at family gatherings.
Edith is preceded in death by her parents Jasper and Zella Maxwell. She is survived by her children, Nancy Woodard and Bill Dutton and her four grandchildren: Avery Woodard, Whitney Dutton, Will Dutton and Grace Dutton.
