Edward was born on August 16, 1970, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Joseph “Gabe” Tinoco and Marina (Vaca) Tinoco. The youngest of seven children and a 1988 graduate of Westport High School, Eddie was a dedicated employee at Tyson Foods.
Edward was preceded in death by his father and his two older brothers, Gabriel and Jimmy, as well as his beloved dog, KC. He is survived by his daughter and his everything, Michaela; his mother, Marina; his brothers Anthony (Rosanna) and Philip; his sisters Jeanette Hernandez (Miguel) and Teresa Valdivia (Robert); and many nieces and nephews whom he loved deeply. He leaves behind a family who loved him and memories that will be forever cherished.
A quiet man with a gentle soul, Edward found happiness in life’s simple moments—spending time with his family, watching movies, and caring for his cars. He had a true passion for his vehicles and took great pride in them. He was also a loyal fan of the Kansas City Royals, but his greatest sports love was always the Kansas City Chiefs. Cheering on the Chiefs as a 25-year Season Ticket Member was something he truly enjoyed and shared with those closest to him.
Above all else, Edward’s most important role was being a father to Michaela. She was his world and his greatest blessing; his unconditional love for her was evident in everything he did.
Edward will be remembered for his quiet strength, his loving heart, and his loyalty to those he treasured. Though he will be deeply missed, his love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
“Those we love never truly leave us. They walk beside us every day, unseen but always near.”
