He was the son of Joseph Milton and Evelyn H. (Boggess) Jones. Ed was born on September 23, 1948 in Kansas City, Missouri.
Ed graduated from Ruskin High School and served in the United States Army. Ed married Louise Marie Damico on November 11, 1973. He was a Property Manager for Block Real Estate Services for 30 years before his retirement.
He enjoyed NASCAR, fishing, barbecuing and his family most of all.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Joseph M. Jones, Jr. and brother in law, Harry Spears.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Louise Jones, son, Michael Cooper and wife, Sarah and her son Andrew, granddaughter, Harmony, great grandchildren, Iris and Ivory, two sisters, Pam Lewis and husband Jim and Melodee Spears and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
