Ellen Grace Shofner

Ellen is survived by her sisters; Leona (Ed) Coleman, Theresa Nitti, Angela Nitti and brother Tony (Staci) Nitti; Children, Phil (Jackie) Winfrey, Debbie Winfrey, Margo (Gary) Wastell, Nadine (Richard) Steffen, Audrey (Curtis) VanderLinden, Chris (Sabrina) Fitzgerald; 19 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and close friends. She is preceded in death by sister, Janeth Lopez (survived by husband, Joe) and stepfather, Anthony Nitti.

Family was Ellen’s passion and delight. She enjoyed arts and crafts and the true essence of nature and God. She embraced the simple pleasures of sitting on her front porch taking in the full sunshine and beautiful magnolia tree while thinking of her family.
