Mr. Elmer Lee Ellison Jr.

On Monday, May 19, 2014 Elmer Lee Ellison, Jr., 58 of Raytown, MO, lost a courageous battle with cancer when he passed away in his sleep at his home. Elmer Ellison Jr., known by his friends as Lee, was born on June 10, 1955 to Elmer and Loretta Ellison Sr. in Nyssa, Oregon. Lee had a larger than life personality and a very giving and generous heart. He was an avid sports fan and fisherman, and loved the outdoors. Lee’s love, patience, charity, and forgivingness touched the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to have known him. Lee’s character as a loving and generous husband, father, family man, and friend serves as a strong example for others to follow. Lee was preceded in death by his wife Pamela Sue Ellison and his son Christopher Ellison. Lee is survived by his brother Jack Ellison, sister Connie Gershong, sons David Ellison, Jason and Angelica Sanders, Jesse B. Sanders, grandsons JT Salas and Jesse R. Sanders, brother-in-law Doug Caves, sisters-in-law Sherry Caves and Debra Cannon, and his loyal and loving cats Mama and Snookem.
