

Born April 13, 1937, Eva was the youngest child born to Leonard Williams, Sr. and Beulah (Jones) Williams in New Madrid, Missouri. She received her education at O’Bannon Elementary and O’Bannon High School. Eva was baptized at an early age at BeeBee Memorial C.M.E. Church.
After graduation, Eva relocated to Kansas City, Missouri. She was united in matrimony to Julian Grant. To this unity, one son, Anthony D. Grant was born.
Eva was employed by A. T. & T until retiring. After retirement, Eva worked in the Hickman Mills School District at the Spofford Home for Children. She retired from the Hickman Mills School District and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Eva was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard Sr. and Beulah Williams, a brother, Leonard Jr., and five sisters, Mildred, Sara, Ruth, Helen and Hazel.
She leaves to cherish her memories her son, Anthony (Cher) of Wildomar, California, grandchildren Liana and Aaron Black, great grandson TreRhan Giles, sister Ella Sue Pope of St. Louis, brother in law Amos Arrington, sister-in-laws Mary Williams and Trueal Wheeler, all of Kansas City, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
