Evelyn Bonita “Bonnie” Gossage, 71, Kansas City, Missouri, passed away May 8, 2012 at home. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. followed by funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 12, at First Assembly of God, 9800 E. 350 Highwayy, Raytown, Missouri 64133. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery South, 10507 Holmes Road. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Assembly of God in Raytown. Bonnie was born October 17, 1940 in Cassville, Missouri. She loved serving as a volunteer for the VA Hospital and serving others in her church, community, and her family. She is survived by her husband Russell Gossage; children Gene Purtle (Susan), Lonny Ray Purtle (Yolanda), and Tony Purtle (Martha), Lynette Schneider, and Jason Burroughs; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
