Frances Ann Renne was born to Frank and Ione on September 28th, 1946 in Kansas City, Missouri. She was a proud Eagle of Central High School. After high school she worked as a Pathology Transcriber at Research Medical Center for 20 years until retirement. All her life she was the creative one. If you needed an elaborate wedding cake, cookies for a bake sale, or if you just had a sweet tooth, you could call on Frances. She would also cook delicious Mexican dishes which was her favorite comfort food. She was a collector of sorts; dolls and stamps most of all. You may find her sitting in the window painting the beautiful blue sky with rainbows all across, birds soaring in the air, or you may see her sitting outside painting the vibrant colors of fall leaves and the crisp air. Her imagination was a very vivid one.
Frances accepted and loved the Lord and Jesus Christ with all her heart. She knew at an early age that her intent was to be a faithful and devoted servant. She was baptized at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church by Rev. Harry R. Allen, Pastor. She helped in the church office right next to her mother. After her mother left, Frances stepped up and stepped in. She had a heart for children, youth, and ministry. She taught Sunday school lessons and Bible School Ministry. She still remained good friends with Pastor Allen after moving her membership. December 7, 2006, Frances joined Calvary Lutheran Church under the leadership of Pastor Bryce Bereuter, (affectionately known to many as Pastor B). She was very regular in her attendance pre-pandemic, and online during the pandemic. Participation in the Couples and Singles Club was her delight. She served as a Treasurer and would fill-in as Secretary if needed. Her generosity of her time, help, and donations were a large part of who she was. Frances always enjoyed good fellowship especially the Annual Advent-Christmas Choir Service, Christmas Eve Service, and Easter Service which were her favorites. Frances was the sweetest and kindest person. She always shared happy thoughts, positive feelings, loving words, and uplifting spirits, leaving a huge impact on all that she came in contact with.
Frances was never married and had no children but cared for and poured all of her love into others. She was a loving caregiver and nurturer to her parents until they passed. She grew up as an only child and very close to her first cousin Harry. They more like siblings than cousins. They remained very close throughout their adulthood lives. She will be loved and missed tremendously by him.
Her parents, Frank and Ione, preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memories, Harry, Marie, cousins, and friends.
