

Francis “Smiley” Falcon, 78, of Kansas City, MO died September 1, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014 at Guardian Angels Church, Westport and Mercer. Burial will be in Forest Hill and Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 Friday at the McGilley Midtown Chapel, 20 W. Linwood Blvd, KCMO, where the Roasry will be prayed at 7:00p.m.
Frank was born April 2, 1936 in Hanover, Ks to Pastor and Mary (Gonzalez) Falcon. He was a commercial baker, having worked at St. Mary’s Hospital, Putsch’s Cafeteria, Gilbert and Robinson and owned the Westport Bakery before retiring. Frank was a Deacon in the Catholic Church, ordained June 8, 1984. Frank was an Army veteran and member of American Legion Post #609. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Zeph, Louis and Tereso Falcon and sister Josephine McWade. Franks survivors include his wife of 51 years, Angelina of the home; daughter Rosie Falcon of KCMO; two sons, Danny (Renee) of Overland Park, KS and Paul (Donna) of KCMO; four brothers, Pete, Sylvan Grove, KS, Rumaldo, Broken Arrow, OK, Paul, San Antonio, TX and Juan, KCMO; four sisters, Marie Clark and Martina Falcon Exeter, CA , Lupe Thomas and Millie Macias, Kansas City, KS; 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
