Francis Scott Shannon, Jr., 69 of Kansas City, KS at his home April 29, 2013. A Celebration of Life will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at the McGilley Midtown Chapel. Friends can visit from 2-3 p.m. at the chapel.
Scott was born October 1, 1943 in Kansas City, MO to Francis Scott Shannon, Sr. and Helen Pearson Shannon. He attended St. Augustine Grade School, Rockhurst High School and Rockhurst College. He a bookkeeper for several companies, lastly with Kansas City University Medical Center, working with insurance claims office. Scott was preceded by his parents and his brother, Tim Mulvaney and nephew Tyler Duet. Scott’s survivors include his son, Craig Shannon of Kansas City, KS; brother Thomas Shannon of Kansas City, MO and sister, Kathleen Smith, Lee’s Summit, MO.
