
Frank Tucker, 77, of Kansas City, MO, passed away on January 22, 2016. Known to friends and family as Brent, he was born on December 7, 1938 to Frank and Amber (Garner) Tucker, who preceded him in death. Frank graduated from the Missouri Military Academy in 1958 and went on to college in southern Illinois. After graduation, he enlisted in the US Army, spending most of those years in Germany. He was discharged in 1963. He married Charlene Vollmer (divorced) and moved to Kansas City, MO, in 1968. He was a lifelong music lover. He got a saxophone as a teenager and had it his entire life, playing it in school, the Army band, in a jazz band, a dixieland band, and always in his free time. He also played the piano and organ, taking every opportunity to play a few tunes. His other great love was going to the Lake of the Ozarks, where he had two homes and two boats over the years. He enjoyed entertaining friends and hosted many parties. He was also a Shriner for over 50 years and a member of the Royal Order of Jesters. Frank worked for Allstate Insurance for more than 30 years before retiring. After retiring, he drove to Florida in the winter in his RV, where he was able to spend time visiting with his sister and enjoying the warm weather. He also spent time during the winter months in Texas, where he was able to visit with nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by sisters Bonnie Cain and Barbara Mantler. He leaves behind a daughter, Heather A. Williams, and a son, Frank B. Tucker III, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Arr.: D.W.
