Gary T. Brown 72, passed away at his home on Monday, March 7, 2022. Gary was born in Las Vegas, Nevada to Harry E Brown Jr. and Christine (King) Brown who preceded him in death along with a brother Harry L Brown.
Gary was a '67 graduate of Westport high school where he excelled in football. Gary was a veteran of the United States Air Force having served in Guam and the Philippines. While in Guam he spent his free time coaching the area youth in football.
Gary was dedicated to his family especially to the care and support that he gave his mother Christine and his aunt, Elizabeth Smith. Gary leaves behind two aunts Lanie King and Alice King, several cousins and a lifetime of cherished memories.
Contributions could be made in Gary's honor to Kansas City, Hospice or Kansas City, VA
A visitation for Gary will be held Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Newcomer's Floral Hills Funeral Home, 7000 BLUE RIDGE BLVD, KANSAS CITY, MO 64133, followed by a funeral service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
