He was born on September 28th of 1947 to Idena and Ivan Goodman.
Gary was a veteran, having served in the Navy for three tours, including during the Vietnam War. He then worked as a pipe fitter until he retired.
Gary was a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan. He also loved photography. He would travel solely to take pictures; whether it would be across the country, or just to the zoo or a park. Amazon was his best friend and will dearly miss his purchases. They may even call to find out why they lost business.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Idena and Ivan Goodman; brother, Ronnie Goodman; and his wife, Jeani Goodman.
He is survived by his children: Christopher Goodman, Tiffany Tustison, Krystal Carpio, Steven Mazza, Randy Mazza, and Joe Mazza; 11 grandchildren; his brother, Terry (Diane) Goodman; and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Gary will be held Monday, February 24, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Floral Hills Funeral Home and Cemetery, 7000 BLUE RIDGE BLVD, KANSAS CITY, MO 64133. Following the visitation will be a graveside service from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Oak Grove Cemetery, 6806 S Cemetery Rd, Oak Grove, MO 64075.
