

George loved the lord, cherished his family and loved people and animals. He rescued many kittys, taking immaculate care of them into his, as well as their old age.
He faced many hardships in his life, losing his 23 year old son to a car accident in 1989, and many health issues later in life, but he always pushed forward and kept that wonderful, genuine smile on his face for everyone he encountered.
Devoted husband, devoted father and faithful friend.
George was preceded in death by his father and mother, his son Paul, two brothers and several sisters and many other family members.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Rosemary and his devoted daughter Julie, a loving sister Julia and several nieces and nephews. Last but not least he is survived by his rescue kittys, a testament to his love and care for them.
A visitation for George will occur on Monday, January 31, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM followed by a funeral service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Southview Baptist Church, 8015 Sterling Avenue, Kansas City, MO 64138. A committal service and interment will occur Monday, January 31, 2022 from 2:15 PM to 2:30 PM at Floral Hills Cemetery, 7000 BLUE RIDGE BLVD, KANSAS CITY, MO 64133. A visitation will occur Monday, January 31, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 8015 Sterling Avenue, Kansas City, MO 64138.
