Georgia Elaine Brady, age 88, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2022. Georgia was born March 18, 1934 in Kansas City, Missouri. She was the daughter of Vernon and Agnes (Plunkett) Brown. She graduated from Center High School. Georgia worked in the licensing branch of the USDA as a licensing technician, retiring in 2012. She loved her job and would have worked forever if she could have.
Georgia loved people, animals, especially her cats, flowers, and life itself. She was a sweet person, very sociable, a lot of fun, loved to laugh, and always had the biggest smile. She could tell you all about the music artists and TV stars. Her heart was full of love, especially for her family. She enjoyed going out to eat Mexican (with a margarita) or Italian with the family for birthday get togethers. She always had the perfect outfit and matching jewelry for every occasion or holiday. She would only drive a sports car and loved driving fast. She also always loved to dance. She had a wonderful spirit and was a breath of fresh air.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Herbert Brown.
Georgia is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Irwin and husband, Richard, her sons, Scott Brady and Craig Brady and his wife, Alyssia, grandchildren Taylor Starks, Haley Starks and Nia Brady, nephew, Jeffrey Brown, and niece, Alisha Brown.
Funeral services will be 11 am Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131 with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial at Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
