Glen Roland Wood, 92, of Kansas City, MO passed away July 4. 2019. He was born on April 1,1927 in Jasper, MO to Walter and Mildreth Wood. In 1945 he was drafted and served in the Navy after graduating from Jasper High School. He married Mary Jeanine Fugate on October 22, 1948. He worked for 35 years as a supervisor at General Services Administration.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary, brother Vern Wood and sister Mildred Gould. He is survived by his son Randall Wood and daughter Glenna Centonze (Vito) and grandchildren Nick Centonze (Kim) and their children Luke and John, Chris Centonze (Jennifer) and their daughter Violet, Natalie Fritzshall (Chase) and their children Riley and Miles.
Visitation will be held at McGilley State Line Chapel, 123rd and State Line Road on Monday, July 8 from 6-8 pm. Rosary from 6:00-6:15. Funeral Tuesday, July 9 at 10:00 at St Catherine's Catholic Church, 4101 E. 105th Terrace, Kansas City, MO.
