

He was born in Riverside, California, to Leola and James Phelps, and is survived by his brother Frank Phelps, and predeceased by siblings Jean, Jack, and Tony.
He is also survived by his daughter Tammi, his son in law Robert, granddaughters Savannah and Megan, and two great grandsons. Additional family include, with three marriages in all, children Sarah, Joe, JD, Danny, Chris and Ben and their families. And also, Kristen and Laura and their families. He has many other extended family and loved ones he's embraced over the years.
After graduating high school, he joined the United States Navy and was a proud Veteran, and an advocate for others like him. After he was Honorably Discharged, he went to work for Florida Power and Light until he retired.
Glenn was a devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and had a strong faith in his Heavenly Father.
His pastimes included woodworking, fishing and camping. He was a jack of all trades and there was nothing he couldn't do. Glenn made friends everywhere he went, with his infectious personality and humor, and will be deeply missed.
