Grace was blessed with many talents and achievements throughout her life from being involved in sports, drama, receiving academic honors, and graduating nursing school. She was also a certified midwife and armed with her nursing experience she paved the way to pursue the American dream and immigrated with her family to the United States of America.
Grace was a proud and loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Grace. She loved drinking coffee and it always had to be fresh. She enjoyed baking and cooking for her family and friends which included banana bread, various Indian curries and dishes, and creating Indian American fusion dishes like chicken casserole. She loved to travel back to India to visit her remaining family as often as she could and taking her kids on spontaneous road trips. She loved gardening, flowers, and nature. Grace was a woman of great faith.
Grace was predeceased in death by her parents, Eliza and Gnanarathnam Thandu; her husband, Joshua Ajjarapu; her son-in-law, Kevin Rogers; and her siblings: Rathnea Valli, Sarala Valli, and Sandja Valli, Mercy, Martin, and Augustine. She is survived by her son Samuel Ajjarapu and Catherine Drislane, daughters Mary Circo and Joseph Circo, Glory Rogers, Sharon Ajjarapu and Cameron Howard.
