Grant O. McClure, 26, passed away December 21, 2014. Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 p.m. followed by memorial service at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 30, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd. Grant was born January 13, 1988 in Kansas City, MO. He graduated from Shawnee Mission East High School, attended Johnson County Community College and was signed up to attend DeVry. He loved the outdoors and dreamed of hiking the Pacific Crest Trail. His true passions were snowboarding, fly-fishing and cooking. Grant was an accomplished chef. He was a loyal and generous person and very creative.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Louis Kurz and Clyde McClure. Grant is survived by his parents Alan and Susan McClure, brothers Austin and (twin) Charles (Megan), grandmothers Naomi Kurz and Billie Jean McClure, a host of friends, and special dog George.
