Hollijo Deane Hansuld

Hollijo was born November 19, 1982 in Kansas City, Missouri to Frank V. and Jo D. (Smith) Hansuld. She graduated from Pleasanton High School in Pleasanton, Kansas. She received her associate degree in criminal justice and worked for the Bates County Detention Center in Butler, Missouri. She was also working for Neovia Logistics in Belton, Missouri at her death.

Holliejo was preceded in death by her father Frank V Hansuld, paternal grandparents Wilber and Barbara Hansuld, maternal grandparents Marvin and Judy Smith. Aunt Barbara Ann Hansuld and Legina Thibodeau and an uncle Richard Hansuld.

She was survived by her 2 sons Cameron New of the home and Kaleb New, mother Jo D. Hansuld of Kansas City, Missouri, 2 sisters Jennifer (Miles) Martin of Freeberg, Illinois, her children Franco, Anthony and Charlotte and (sister) Shawna (Caleb Alberts) Hansuld of Liberty, Missouri. 2 uncles Charles (Phyllis "Aunt Susie") of Kansas City, Missouri and their children Ray (Lisa) Hansuld of Grain Valley, Missouri, Charles Hansuld Jr. of Parkville, Missouri and Michael Hansuld of Kansas City, Missouri and (Uncle) Steve Hansuld of Kansas City, Missouri. Aunt Johnna (Jack) Schresckhise of Pleasanton, Kansas and their children Jackie (Rochelle) Schresckhise, of Pleasanton Kansas, Kyle Schreckhise, and Jessica (Kenny) Wisdom. Her friends Marie Camargo of Raytown, Missouri, Ashlee Mitchell of Pleasanton, Kansas, Beth Crismas of Pleasanton, Kansas, Steve (Trish) Thomas of Pleasanton, Kansas and Brian (Stephanie) Cook of Pleasanton, Kansas.

A visitation for Hollijo will be held Thursday, April 20, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at McGilley & Sheil Funeral Home, 11924 E 47th St., Kansas City, Missouri. A funeral service will occur 12:30pm Friday, April 21, 2023 at the funeral home. A committal service will follow the chapel service at Forest Hill & Calvary Cemetery, 6901 Troost Ave., Kansas City, Missouri.

Serving as pallbearers are Ray Hansuld, Charles Hansuld Jr., Michael Hansuld, Miles Martin, Steven Thomas and Brian Cook.
