Howard Ronald Hardcastle

Howard Ronald Hardcastle, age 43, died on April 25th. Howard was born on December 18, 1969 in Kansas City, where he lived his whole life. He graduated from the Plaza Academy, served in the Marine Corps Reserves, and held various jobs in the restaurant and service industries. A gentle, kind person who loved to laugh, Howard cared deeply about his family and friends. He enjoyed history, was a great fan of heavy metal bands, and was a devoted follower of the Kansas City Chiefs. Howard was preceeded in death by his father, Howard Ray Hardcastle. He is survived by his mother, Jill Jarvis; stepfather,Chris Cox; brother, Deric Stafford; uncle, Ron Jarvis; aunt, Millie Igo-Puckett; and maternal grandmother, Verdeania Jarvis. A visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, April 30, noon -1pm at McGilley Midtown Chapel, 20 West Linwood Blvd, Kansas City, MO, with burial following at 1:30 pm in Forest Hills Cemetery, 6901 Troost Avenue. A Memorial Service will be held at All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church, 4501 Walnut, Kansas City, MO on Saturday, May 11 at 2 pm.
