Ida “Darlene” Leeman, 69, of Sugar Creek, MO passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2015. Funeral service 2pm Tuesday, Feb. 10th at Floral Hills, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd., KCMO, with visitation one hour prior. Burial following in Floral Hills Cemetery.
Darlene was born May 16, 1945 in Kansas City, MO to William Sr. & Ida Steele. She was a lifelong area resident. Darlene had strong family values and always put her family first. She was a wonderful homemaker who reinvented herself many times over the years due to the needs of her family. She dearly loved and enjoyed her family.
Darlene was preceded in death by a grandson, Tyler and is survived by her husband of 45 years, Leland; three sons, Larry & David Lawson and Michael Leeman; two daughters, Pamela Leeman & Patricia Mulligan; a brother, William Steele, Jr; 9 grandchildren & 7 great grandchildren.
