Irene Louise Barron, 85, passed away peacefully the morning of January 10 at North Kansas City Hospital. She began her working life at Bendix Corporation as a secretary. She later married and subsequently survived two husbands. She was later employed at The Kansas City Public Library System for the remainder of her working life. She is survived by a brother, Norman B. Morgens, who along with her friends at Avonlea Cottage, will miss her greatly. Irene was a devout Catholic and eventually became an Oblate in the church.
