I had opportunities to work with Ivan for about 20 years in the’70s and ‘80s, early in my career. I always appreciated his graciousness, patience , intellect and ethics. He was always calm in a storm. After a conversation with Ivan, you knew you not only had the answer, you also knew it was the Right answer. Ivan had my respect, and the respect of everyone who worked with him. 
Good man, and we will all miss him.

I worked with Ivan for 39 years in The Engineering Department of The Marley Cooling Tower Company.  Ivan was a truly super gentleman.  He was always kind, helpful and a friend to all.  He was a brilliant engineer, patient and willing to teach all of us who came to him regularly for advice.  I admired him greatly and will sincerely miss him.

Although it has been 30 years or more since I was last saw Ivan, I still remember him as a wonderful, patient, loyal man.  Even now, I’m saddened to hear of his passing.  Ivan was a true mentor, always willing to share his knowledge and offer input.   I’ve worked with many since, but Ivan stood out.  My condolences to his family.   

I had the pleasure of working with Ivan at the end of the 1970's through mid-1980's at the Marley Cooling Tower Company.  Truly a gentleman and a scholar and always ready to share his experience to help a newcomer learn.   I offer my condolences to his family.

A cousin from my extended South Bend Kuharic family.  I heard stories about Ivan  from my uncle John Kuharic. May that generation Rest In Peace. 

I am a history buff. To be more precise, a big WWII history enthusiast.
Cousin Ivan was a pilot in WWII. I reached out to him asking him to share what he wanted, or could. He sent me a letter detailing his experience flying cargo planes over "The Hump", aka Himalayas. He also sent a couple pictures of himself. I was thrilled.
He was a kind person and loved his wife very much. I know he missed her dearly.
