She was born on September 22, 1936 in Kansas City, Missouri. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a lifelong member of Paseo Baptist Church. She was on the missionary board.
She continued her education studies and earned her Master's Degree. She taught and retired from teaching with the Kansas City, Missouri Public Schools. She loved all her students and called them her kids. She loved each and every one of them.
She was preceded in death by her parents Dorothy and Henry Beverly and most recently her husband George Wheeler.
Surviving family include her son Gary Wheeler, brother Pancho Hall (Catherine), nieces-nephews Villajean Jones (Darryl), Pancho D. Hall (Kelly), Leslie Hall and Darren Hall (Glynis); and a host of great-nieces and nephews. Devoted MGM family Mitchell Graves McCallop.
A Visitation for Jacquelene will take place on Thursday, August 29 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO. A Homegoing Celebration will follow at 11:00am. She will be laid to rest in Mount Moriah Cemetery South at 12:00pm.
