James D. Satterfield, 1942-2013, of Peculiar, Mo. passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2013. After graduating from Belton High School, Jim enlisted in the Marines. He worked for Marion Laboratory for 17 years. He was preceded in death by his son, Lance and his sister, Rita Remington. He is survived by his wife Barbara of 36 years; a sister, Ellen Barnes; granddaughters: Marissa and Winter; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday, June 3rd from 8:30 – 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2700 E. Mechanic, Harrisonville, MO with a Mass starting at 10 am. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Raytown, MO. Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
