James Allen Wallace, 83, of Oak Grove, MO passed away December 7, 2021. He was born March 2, 1938 in Hobbs, New Mexico to Charles Stanley Wallace and Juanita Ellen Wallace. He moved to the Kansas City area, more specifically, Oak Grove in 1972. Jim worked for 27 years at the Jackson County Courthouse as a Systems Analyst Programmer. He enjoyed playing baseball and guitar, along with doing some carpentry work. He had a love for listening to music and of course, had a love for the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals. He also loved his family dearly, including his dogs and cats.
Jim is survived by his wife Christine Wallace of the home; son Michael Allen Wallace and wife Brenda; daughters Michelle Bautista and husband Tony; and Katrina Louise Setoodeh; grandchildren Kristopher Allen Wallace, Sophia Nicole Setoodeh, Cyrus Alan Setoodeh and Celine Marie Wallace-Wagner; and brother Charles Lee Wallace.
Visitation will be 1pm, Tuesday, December 14, 2021, followed by a Celebration of Life at 2pm, at Floral Hills Funeral Home.
