Jane Rita Snodgrass was born in Kansas City, MO on November 16, 1961 to parents Bob and Pauline Carroll. Jane has left her mark on the world by being a loving, daughter and sister, being a caring wife to her husband Jim, raising her two boys to love Jesus and others, inspiring people to hope in God through her cancer story, and loving and caring for everyone she meets. Jane used her talents working at Marion Laboratories, LSR7 schools, Summit Christian Academy and Lee's Summit Community Church. She understood that no one could live a perfect life, but that , because of our savior Jesus, we do not have to. She also understood; however, that there are glimpses of God's character in each of us and she was no exception to this. Her ability to help mend relationships that do not seem mendable, to help gather those who may be lost, and to defend what many may see as indefensible was what helped her to share this message. She saw the best in the worst and was a friend to those who needed it most. Jane was also a warrior. She battled cancer 5 times and won by the way in which she lived. Eventually, God called her home on February 9, 2022, and she was ready. Jane was preceded in death by father Robert M. Carroll, her mother Pauline R. Carroll, and her brother John Carroll. She is survived by her husband Jim, her sons James and Joe, her daughter-in-law Rachel, her grandson Milo, her two sisters Joann and Jean, and many other family members and friends. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to Lee's Summit Community Church.
