Janet White McLanahan Reinsel Barrow, born October 21, 1923 in Ayre, Scotland and moved to Niagra Falls, NY in 1927. She passed away April 26, 2014. She married Walter B. Reinsel April 18, 1942 until his passing in 1999. She had lived in the Kansas City, Mo area since 1950. They raised three children David (deceased), Pamela, and Mark. She was married to Daniel (Ed) Barrow until he passed in 2010. Janet was much loved by her combined and extended family.
Mrs. Barrow is survived by her daughter Pamela (David) Bowen, Mark (Peg) Reinsel, her daughter-in-law, Judith Reinsel, stepchildren Daniel Barrow, Marilyn Smith, Carol (Charles) Bessely, 17 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held at Mt Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes, from 6pm-8pm Tuesday, April 29, services 10 AM on Wednesday, April 30. Donations may be made to Brookdale Hospice, in lieu of flowers.
