Born in Maryville, Missouri on June 16, 1942 to Raymond and Pearl Looker, she graduated from Northwest Missouri State College and enjoyed a career in clinical and industrial products in Kansas City, Missouri.
She married William R. (Bill) Taylor on Friday, December 13, 1974. They had two sons. She was an avid bridge player and an advocate for Healing House, Inc. in Kansas City.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother William R. Looker (Gwen), Janet is survived by her husband, Bill; son William R. (Billy) Taylor II (Katie); son John D. Taylor (Christina); grandchildren Landen and Charlotte Taylor; and brother Jim Looker (Toni).
A private memorial will be held at a later date.
