Janice was the most beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family was the center of her universe, and she loved them more than anything. Throughout her working life, she dedicated herself as a receptionist, yet she never missed a sporting event for her children and made sure to support her grandchildren’s sports as well. Janice’s love for travel was well known, with Key West holding a special place in her heart as her favorite destination, visited annually. Above all, she adored her soulmate and husband more than life itself.
Janice was preceded in death by her sister, Zora Lee Spencer, and her parents, Lee R. Spencer and Zora Elizabeth Spencer. She is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Leonard E. Davis, her five children: Shelly Davis, Nick Ream, Chuck Ream, Zora Kreissler, and Spencer Davis, as well as nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on November 14, 2025, from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Floral Hills Funeral Home and Cemetery, located at 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO, 64133. A Graveside service will follow from 2:00pm to 3:00pm at the same location.
Janice’s legacy of love and compassion will be forever cherishes by all who knew her.
