Jarrol Keith Elmore

Jarrol was born on October 11, 1944 in Kansas City, MO to Douglas and Betty Elmore. He was a graduate of East High School, class of 1962, and went on to study Computer Science at Northwestern University and Roosevelt University. His career as a systems programmer led him to be employed with Sears Tower in Chicago, IL, and Eastern Airlines and EDS Corporation in Miami, FL. Jarrol was an avid Florida Gators fan, sports enthusiast and car aficionado.

Jarrol will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Patricia Elmore; his three children and their spouses, Michael Elmore, husband of Rachael Elmore; Jarrol Elmore Jr., husband of Teresa Elmore; and Jacqueline Ortiz, wife of Richard Ortiz; step-son, Sean Davis; and seven grandchildren, Stephen, Shaina, Ryan, Rachel, Timothy, Olivia and Neva.

Jarrol will also fondly be remembered by his siblings Dennis (Linda) Elmore, Nancy (Roy) Pannell, and Marcy (Joe) Alonzo; and many nieces and nephews.

Jarrol is preceded in death by his parents, Douglas and Betty, and wife, Sandra Sue.

A visitation will be held from 1-2 PM, service 2 PM, on Friday, October 27, at Newcomer’s Floral Hills Funeral Home, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
