Jesse Mora III

Aug. 21, 1958 - Oct. 30, 2010 Jesse Mora, III, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, October 30, 2010. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, at McGilley Midtown Chapel. Funeral at Redemptorist Catholic Church at 9 a.m. Saturday. He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Mora Jr., and his maternal and paternal grandparents. Left to mourn him are his mother, Maria L. Mora, his sisters, Anna-Marie Mora and Dolores-Rene Mora; his son, Jesse Mora IV and Marleen Smith, who are expecting Olivia Loryn Mora, along with daughter Mackenzie Rae Smith; his daughter, Erica Mora and Jesse Cervantes and their son Jesse Cervantes II; nephews, Thomas, Michael and Nicholas, and niece, Adriana, a large loving family and many friends. Jesse was passionate about life. He was employed at North Kansas City Hospital. He loved his job and the many people he came into contact with. He loved children and they loved him. He was kind and generous to whomever was in need. He loved God, family and friends and was kind to strangers. He often befriended the homeless, giving them his last dollar. Jesse attended Redemptorist grade school, Lillis High School and UMKC. He was self-employed for many years in the construction field
