Joan R. Powell, 81, passed away April 20, 2015. Joan was born July 18, 1933 in Watervliet, MI the daughter of Peter and Marietta Vermeulen. She was preceded in death by her parents, several siblings and beloved friend Mary Helen Van Schooten. Survivors include, a daughter, Karen and husband Tom Thielbar; step-son, Rick and wife Sue Powell; eight grandchildren; twenty seven great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
