Jolora Fay Eimer, 88, of Lee’s Summit, MO, passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2018. Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. – with Celebration of Life Service following at 11:00 a.m. – on Wednesday, August 15, at McGilley State Line Chapel, 12301 State Line Road, KCMO. Burial in Calvary Cemetery, KCMO. Memorial contributions may be made to Village Hospice Fund, 1001 NW Chipman Road, Lee’s Summit, MO 64081.
Fay was born December 13, 1929 in Ritchey, MO and raised on the family farm a few miles outside of Pierce City, MO. She married Francis J. Eimer on October 17, 1950 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Wentworth, MO. Together, they raised six children. She loved to sew, play cards and listen to Francis play his accordion. But mostly, she loved spending time with family.
Fay was preceded in death by her parents, Sanford and Belva Hutchison; one sibling, Howard Hutchison; her husband, Francis and one son, Paul. She is survived by five children; Dona Picone (John), David Eimer (Sherrie), Carol Mosier (Dennis), Mark Eimer (Erica) and Cheryl Eimer (Becky Graham), a brother, John Hutchison, nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, friends and extended family.
