Josefina "Lil Mom" Arce

Josefina Ramirez Arce (88) was called home by her Lord and Savior on February 3, 2016, surrounded in her home by her loving family. Josefina will journey to heaven and be welcomed into the gates of Heaven to join others of her family that have entered before her. She was the foundation of the family, and she will truly be missed by all of those she touched in her lifetime. At the age of 79 she retired from Empire Manufacture Company after 29 years of service. She always said, “Working was what kept her healthy.” She enjoyed her co-workers and being surrounded by her family.

Josefina was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Regino M. Arce; son Regino Arce Jr. and great grandson Jose Macias Jr. She leaves behind; of the home, daughter Marie Hernandez; grandson Anthony Hernandez (Raquel Ramirez) and great granddaughter Selena Hernandez and Son, Jose M. Arce (Ramona); daughters, Susie Tinoco (George) and Teresa Magana (David); 10 Grandchildren; Anthony Hernandez, Regi Gonzales, CJ Hernandez, Christy Garcia, Rudy Gonzales, Josie Garcia, Susie Garcia, Lisa Arce, Ruben Gonzales, Rachel Rodriguez. 33 Great Grandchildren and 7 Great-Great Grandchildren, three brothers and three sisters.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. -12:00 p.m. Saturday, February 6, 2016 followed at 12:00 p.m. by Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady Guadalupe Shrine, 901 Avenida Cesar E. Chavez, Kansas City, MO 64108.
