I just heard this sad news, and send my condolences to the family. I met Joe nearly 20 years ago with the Z car club, and he was one of the first to welcome me to the club and get me involved. Since then we shared a number of spirited drives in the country, autocross and club events. He will be long remembered by all whose lives he touched.

Words seem inadequate to express the sadness I feel for you all and the rest of the family. Though words may be meaningless right now, may you find some comfort in the love and concern that surround you from so many who deeply care. Wishing you peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your hearts. Beyond the darkness, light... Beyond the sorrow, peace. At this time of loss, please know that I am thinking of you and holding you all close to my heart.

Our thoughts and prayers were with you and the family today as we could not attend due to Dave having surgery yesterday.

There was a ton of conversations I was lucky enough to have with Joe especially in my early 20s. The conversations were always about cars but he would bring them full circle with life lessons he learned and how they would be beneficial to me. Joe always made me feel included and like one of his own even when he would yell at me for "Getting rocks kicked all over his new car" then after realizing there was 2 cars the same color realizing I wasn't the offender but still said "well eitherway don't be like that guy" then proceed to give the other gentleman a life lesson 😂 Going to miss your past Z stories at future Z events Joe. RIP

My thoughts go out the the family, was always a second home for me...a tough outer skin, but he did (although he wouldn’t admit it) like to smile, laugh, and give it right back to ya, which we frequently did when we saw each other. RIP, and I promise, I’ll leave you alone 😂🤟🏻
