A lifelong resident of Kansas City, Josephine M. Hendricks, 92, passed away on Nov. 17, 2011. Visitation will be held Sunday, Nov. 20th at the McGilley & Sheil Chapel from 5-7pm with rosary at 7pm. Mass of Christian Burial 11am on Monday at St. Bernadette’s Catholic Church with additional visitation one hour prior to mass. Burial to follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Josephine was the youngest of six Irish Catholic children born to Daniel & Margaret (Neenan) Hayes. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, George; her parents; brothers & sisters. Josephine is survived by her children, Janet (Newt) Harman, Charleston, WV; Joanne (John) Farhner, Warsaw, MO & Lew (Jackie) Hendricks, KCMO; grandchildren, Amy Garland & Kyle Hendricks and nieces & nephews. Her family would like to thank her friends at Our Lady of Mercy Country Home, Pleasant Valley Manor Care Center and the Palliative Staff at Liberty Hospital for all your kindness.
