Jovita Lopez, 86, Kansas City, departed this life on Dec. 21, 2014 at Ashton Court Care Center in Liberty, MO. Mass of Christian Burial will take place Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014 at 10:00 AM at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 4737 N Cleveland, Kansas City. A visitation will precede the service, beginning at 9:00 AM. Burial will be at Mt Olivet Cemetery, Kansas City.
Jovita was born Sept. 1, 1928 in Kansas City, KS to Calixto and Rita Lopez. She is survived by a brother, Manuel Lopez and a sister, Angelina (Martin) Garcia.
The family would like to thank Ashton Court Care Center for their many years of compassionate service to Jovita, and Odyssey Hospice for their kindness in her final days.
