Joy was born on December 12th, 1946 in Kansas City Missouri. She was a dedicated analyst for the Federal Bureau of Investigations for 48 years. Long time member of Lee’s Summit Christian Church, Joy sang in the choir, as well as playing the piano and organ for worship services. She was also a volunteer coordinator for Friends of the Lee’s Summit Symphony.
Joy was preceded in death by her mother, Verna Throckmorton, and her husband Raymond Howe.
She is survived by her daughter, Tracy Howe.
Services will be Wednesday, May 7th at Lee’s Summit Christian Church. Visitation will start at 4:00pm, and a memorial service at 5:00pm.
