

Judith, affectionately known as Judie, was a beacon of warmth and hospitality. Her spirited, fun-loving nature shone brightly, especially as the proprietor of a cherished bed and breakfast in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Judie's innate ability to make everyone feel at home turned strangers into friends and her Inn into a haven of comfort and joy.
Beyond her professional achievements, Judie found joy in the simple pleasures of life. After retiring, she devoted time to her beloved cats, traveling to new places, and the tranquil art of coloring mandalas. These hobbies provided her with great happiness and peace in her later years.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her children, Melissa Weston of Independence, Missouri, Melanie Weston Barnett of Imperial, Missouri, and Mark Weston of Independence, Missouri, Granddaughter Jennifer Barnett Nicholas (Kirk Nicholas) of Fayetteville Arkansas and 2 Grandchildren K.J. and Kohen both of Fayetteville Arkansas. She is also survived by her siblings, Kathy Forman of Independence, Missouri, William Forman of Rockport Texas, and Delmar Forman of Edinburgh, Texas.
Judie was proceeded in death by her loving husband, Robert Lockhart.
The family invites friends and loved ones to honor Judie's life at the following services: Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 7th from 1:00-2:00 PM, followed by the funeral service from 2:00-3:00 PM and a graveside service at 3:00 PM at Newcomer’s Floral Hills, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64133.
After the service, a reception will be held from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at the Luxe Event Space 200 N. Liberty St. Independence, MO. 64050.
