Karol Ann Burns (DeGroff) passed away from this earth Wednesday, March 20, 2013. Services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, Northcare Hospice House or charity of donor’s choice.
Karol was born on November 10, 1940 in Alliance, OH. She was a 1958 graduate of Alliance High School and a 1960 graduate of Stephens College.
Preceding Karol in death are her parents, Merle and Esther DeGroff, of Alliance, OH. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Daniel Burns; children, Timothy Burns (Laura), of Chantilly, VA; Debra Jones (Don), of Bradenton, FL; and Darcie Lauer (Greg), of Liberty, MO; six grandchildren, Chris, Donald, Kendal, Daniel, Kelson, and Heather; one great grandchild, Sierra; sister, Connie Fillinger (George) of Bay Village, OH; and many cousins, nephews and nieces.
Karol was a loving wife, mother and friend.
