

Katherine “Kit” E. (Johnson) Campbell of Greenwood, MO formerly of Kansas City, MO joined our Lord on Friday, October 23, 2015. Graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, November 2, at Mount Moriah Cemetery, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert W. and Katherine B. Johnson, her beloved husband, Lloyd P. Campbell, her brother and sister- in-law, Raymond and Rhoda Johnson, her niece Kitty Jo Rymer but leaves her nephew, Bob Johnson. She leaves two daughters, Kathie Nichols, Teri Campbell and daughter in-law, Gloria Painter. Also, leaves 3 grandchildren, Chief Petty Officer, Justin Hall and daughter in-law, Aly Hall, Sarah Nichols and son in-law, Luke Padilla and great grandson Joey Padilla, Jennifer Nichols and great grand-daughters Lacey Bishop and Sydney Bishop. And, her little Shih Tzu, Mollie.
Kit was born in Kansas City, MO on October 26, 1931 and lived in Kansas City, KS graduating from Rosedale High School. She married Lloyd Campbell on November 18, 1950. She went to work for Marley Cooling Tower where she retired after 30 years of service as an Applications Engineer in 1985 and later moved to Crystal Lake where she and Lloyd spent many days fishing and enjoying lake life. They then moved to Greenwood, MO where they both resided until Lloyd passed in 2001 and her in 2015. She was a loving mother who did so much for her family. She loved animals, fishing, gardening, The Chiefs, and oh, how she loved her Royal’s. Win or lose. She will be so missed.
